# Upgrading or Downgrading Your Subscription

At Imagine.art, we offer the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. This ensures you can adjust your plan to meet your evolving creative needs. Below are the steps to upgrade or downgrade your subscription, along with important details about how changes take effect.

#### **How to Upgrade Your Subscription**

To upgrade your subscription and unlock more features, follow these steps:

1. **Go to Manage Subscription**:

   Navigate to your **Imagine.art dashboard** and click on the **Manage Subscription** tab.
2. **Select "Upgrade"**:

   Under the **Plans** section, you will see an **Upgrade** button next to your current plan. Click on it.
3. **Choose Your New Plan**:

   You will be presented with the available plans. Select the one that best fits your needs.

4. **Select the Time Frame for Upgrade**:

   You will now have two options:

   * **Change Immediately with Allocation**: This option upgrades your plan right away and allocates your current subscription’s remaining credits and time to the new plan.
   * **Change at the End of Subscription Period**: This option will apply the upgrade at the end of your current billing cycle. You will not be charged until the new period begins.

   By default, **"Change Immediately with Allocation"** is selected. If you press **Enter** without selecting, the upgrade will be applied immediately.

4. **Review and Confirm**:

   Once you’ve selected your preferred option, **review the summary** of the plan details and any adjusted charges. Confirm your choice by clicking **Confirm Change**.

4. **Plan Activation**:

   After confirming, the new plan will be activated, and your **updated plan** will be shown at the top of the **Plan and Billing** section on your dashboard.

   **Note**:

   * **Immediate upgrades** will start a new billing cycle immediately.
   * **End-of-period upgrades** will show the payment details under your existing plan in **Plan and Billing** but won’t charge until the current period ends.
   * If you choose the **"Change at the End of Subscription Period"** option, you **won’t be able to cancel** the subscription or service until the new billing cycle starts. The cancellation option will not be available until after the new period begins.

   #### **How to Downgrade Your Subscription**

   If you wish to downgrade to a lighter plan, follow these steps:

   1. **Go to Manage Subscription**:

      Open the **Manage Subscription** tab from your **dashboard**.
   2. **Choose the Plan You Want to Downgrade To**:

      You will be shown the available plans. Select the plan that best fits your needs and choose it to downgrade your subscription.

   1. **Confirm the Downgrade**:

   Once you’ve chosen your new plan, click **Continue** and confirm your selection. Downgrades will apply **at the end of your current billing cycle**, meaning you can continue using your existing plan until then.

**Note**:

* Downgrades apply only after your current billing period ends.

#### **Canceling a "Change at the End of Period" Selection**

If you’ve selected the **"Change at the End of Subscription Period"** option but wish to cancel it, follow these steps:

1. **Go to Manage Subscription**:

   Open the **Manage Subscription** tab from your **dashboard**.
2. **Go to Plan and Billing Section**:

   In your **dashboard**, navigate to the **Plan and Billing** section.
3. **Cancel the Selection**:

   You will see an option to **cancel** the selected change. Click on **Cancel**, and your selection will be nullified.

#### **Need Extra Tokens?**

If you need more tokens but don’t want to change your plan, you can **top up** your token balance at any time. Simply go to the **Manage Subscription** section and select the **Buy Credits** option.
