# Getting Started with Build

Open Build and you will see a prompt box with the placeholder Ask Computer to, along with a gallery of templates below it. You can either type your own request or start from a template.

Choose your interaction mode using the Build dropdown. Build applies changes directly, while Plan has the agent discuss the approach with you first before writing any code.

Choose your effort tier using the Eco dropdown. Eco is budget friendly and takes a little longer, Balanced sits in the middle, and Max is the most powerful option for demanding builds.

You can also click the plus icon to upload files, open Design Styles to set a visual direction before you generate, or connect a service through Connectors.

When you are ready, type your prompt and submit. Be specific about what you want, for example naming the type of site, who it is for, and any key sections or features you need.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.imagine.art/imagine-computer/build/getting-started-with-build.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
