# Templates and Design Styles

### Templates

Templates give you a working starting point instead of a blank prompt. Browse the gallery from the Templates tab on the Build home screen, or click Browse All to see the full library. Templates are organised into categories including Tasks and Workflows, CRM and Sales, Content and Sites, Finance, Booking, E-Commerce, Projects, Events and Community, Wellness, and Operations.

Featured templates include Cadence, a daily habit tracker, Cipher, a daily puzzle game engine, Nova, a SaaS starter, Roadmapper, a product roadmap tool, Ledger, a personal finance tracker, Slate, a notes app, Billfold, an invoice generator, and Stacks, a kanban board.

Hover a template to preview its animation, or click it to open a full preview before deciding. Click Recreate to bring it into your project, then adjust it with your own prompt.

### Design Styles

Design Styles set the visual direction of your build before you generate, so you are not relying on a prompt alone to describe the look. Open Design Styles from the plus icon in the composer to browse and preview the available styles, then pick one to guide the colours, type, and layout of what gets built.

If you do not choose a style, Build will infer a suitable visual direction from your prompt automatically.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.imagine.art/imagine-computer/build/templates-and-design-styles.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
